CHATSWORTH, Calif., Jan. 26, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capstone Turbine Corporation (www.capstoneturbine.com) (Nasdaq:CPST), the world's leading clean technology manufacturer of microturbine energy systems, has named Power Equipos Termicos as its distributor in Mexico for combined heat and power (CHP), combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP), agricultural and biogas applications.

Founded in 1992 in Mexico City, Power Equipos Termicos selects, installs and maintains energy solutions and equipment for clients in such industries as textile, agriculture, healthcare, government, beverage production and hospitality.

As a Capstone distributor, Power Equipos Termicos will sell and service low-emission Capstone microturbines for combined heat and power, combined cooling, heating and power, agricultural, and biogas applications.
