WEFTEC 2013

The Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), held from Oct. 7–9, 2013, in Chicago, IL, drew a record number of 22,589 registrants and 971companies making it the largest annual water quality conference and exhibition in the world. Also regarded as the birthplace of sustainable and innovative water solutions, WEFTEC offered Capstone the opportunity to feature its microturbine solutions to the innovative water professionals in attendance.

High Horsepower Summit (HHP)

The High Horsepower Summit (HHP) is North America's leading conference on the use of natural gas to fuel a broad spectrum of high horsepower operations—including rail, marine, E&P operations, and mining. The three-day event, held from September 17–19, 2013, in Chicago, Illinois, enabled Capstone to present its clean and green solutions to over 1,000 attendees from different industry segments looking for efficient and durable technology.

POWER-GEN Europe 2013

Europe's largest exhibition and conference dedicated to electric power generation, Power-Gen Europe (PGE), was held this year at the Messe Wien in Vienna, Austria from June 4–6, 2013. The exhibition drew more than 12,000 visitors from 104 countries, attracting the industry's leading professionals and key decision makers, whose innovation and expertise are helping to shape the future of renewable energy production and usage. Complementing the theme of clean and reliable energy at PGE, Capstone displayed a C65 unit and the Capstone World app during the exhibition.



Offshore Technology Conference 2013

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), held this year in Houston, Texas from May 6- 9, is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters. Attendance at this year's conference reached a 30-year high of 104,800 attendees representing 40 countries. Capstone showcased a C65 unit and video case studies in response to OTC's commitment to offshore energy development and environmentally responsible offshore oil and gas operations.

International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG17)

Held every three years since 1968, the industry-owned 17th International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG17) took place from 16–19 April 2013 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. A record number of over 5,000 industry professionals from over 80 countries attended this landmark strategic and technical event for LNG industry leaders. Capstone was able to network and participate with key LNG players by displaying our C65 unit, video case studies, and Capstone World app.

POWER-GEN International 2012

POWER-GEN International 2012, held from Dec. 11–13 in Orlando, FL, is the industry leader in providing comprehensive coverage of the trends, technologies and issues facing the power generation sector. The event offered more than 20,000 attendees and 1,200 exhibitors a chance to bridge power generation challenges with solutions. Capstone exhibited its C65 unit and Capstone World app in response to meeting the international need of efficient and cost-effective operations.

WEFTEC 2012

In its 85th year, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) continues to drive innovation in the water sector with its annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). This year, from Oct. 1–3, Capstone Turbine exhibited its Wastewater Treatment Plant case studies to over 18,000 attendees that descended to New Orleans, Louisiana to discuss and explore emerging water technologies with leading innovators in the water field.



Rio+20 Earth Summit

The United Nations Rio+20 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 13–23, was a historic opportunity to define pathways to a safer, more equitable, cleaner, greener and more prosperous world. The Summit converged world leaders, thousands of participants from governments, the private sector, NGOs and other groups into one exhibition. Capstone was honored to be the title corporate sponsor of "The Future We Want" Pavilion wall at the entrance of the conference where all attendees passed daily. Capstone debuted several global microturbine-focused energy films highlighting the significant benefits of using renewables as fuel for clean power generation fitting seamlessly with United Nation's agenda of universal access to sustainable energy, energy efficiencies, and renewable energy sources. On Tuesday, June 19th, Capstone participated in an innovative international press event that featured the support of clean energy and smart climate solutions for California and the country via a live video feed webcast. The live webcast paired California's leading energy experts from the California State Senate and Assembly in Sacramento and Capstone, the world's leading manufacturer of clean energy microturbines, at the UN's "Future We Want" Pavilion in Rio.





POWER-GEN Europe 2012

In its 20th year, POWER-GEN Europe offers the largest and most comprehensive conference and exhibition for the European electricity and power technology sector. Held this year in Cologne, Germany, from June 12–14, the event drew more than 13,000 attendees and 600 exhibitors. Capstone revealed its new stand design and featured the latest version of Capstone World and video case studies. Guests explored the environmental and economic benefits of clean, distributed energy for their communities using the new Distributed Energy Calculator (http://distributedenergycalculator.com).





Offshore Technology Conference 2012

Held annually at Reliant Park in Houston, Texas, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) was founded in 1969 as the world's foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection. This year, from April 30 – May 3, OTC recognized innovative new products that provide significant impact for offshore exploration and production. Capstone exhibited its successful C65 unit and Bolivia pipeline case study representing Capstone’s inventive and advanced technologies that allow the industry to produce offshore resources.
